Dana Smillie is a photographer and videojournalist based in Cairo, Egypt. With over a decade of experience in the region, she has worked on assigments for numerous editorial, development and corporate clients.

Her still images have appeared in international publications including Time, Newsweek, Stern, Forbes, the International Herald Tribune, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times.

As a video photographer and editor, she produces video packages and multimedia projects for television broadcast, internet, and corporate distribution. She has filmed and edited projects for CNN, YLE-TV (Finland), National Geographic, Discovery Communications, Time Warner, the World Bank and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
